On The Spot 947 with Reymond Sajor

This is the first episode for #OnTheSpot947 since the events of Covid-19.

While the pandemic has certainly derailed a lot of our plans for events and artist interaction, it however did not stop us from providing content and interviews with artists that we continue to play on our respective shows and those whose music we champion.

Reymond Sajor was a finalist in Philippine Idol, the 2006 show that was supposed to be the local counterpart of Americal Idol as that show itself was also a franchise of the mother show that started in the UK and produced by Simon Cowell. Following that stint, he went on to bag the title of  “Grand Champion Senior Vocalist of the World” in the 11th World Championships of Performing Arts or WACOPA, the very same competition where Jed Madela won several years back as an earlier grand champion.

He recently made it to the Top 6 in the Indonesian singing competition, “Golden Memories Asia” and although did not win, his experience there has given him memories and established friendships that would last a lifetime.

Currently, he is enjoying the feedback of his new single entitled, “Paglimot”, released under Warner Music. This is a song that he wrote and based on the experience of a friend and speaks more of the decision to move forward and away from the pain of a failed relationship. The song is currently on our playlist and is equally enjoying much airplay and playback.

Thank you Reymond for joining us.  Wishing you more success and exposure in the local and international music scene.

Till the next episode everyone.
