The Umbrella Academy season 2 confirmed!
The creator and co-executive producer of The Umbrella Academy, Gerard Way, officially announced that the second season is underway.
Way revealed on his Instagram account of a picture indicating that The Umbrella Academy Season Two table reads were underway for the show.

While other details have not been released yet, you can rest assured that the main cast will still be in the second season which includes Ellen Page (Vanya Hargreaves/The White Violin), Tom Hopper (Luther Hargreaves/Spaceboy), Robert Sheehan (Klaus Hargreaves/The Seance), David Casteñada (Diego Hargreaves/The Kraken), Emmy Raver-Lampman (Allison Hargreaves/The Rumour), Aidan Gallagher (Five), and Justin H. Min (Ben Hargreaves/The Horror).
Gerard Way, mostly known as the frontman of the band My Chemical Romance, wrote the original comic books and the one responsible for the illustrations is co-executive producer Gabriel Bá.
The Umbrella Academy’s Season One followed the events of the first volume of the comic books titled The Apocalypse Suite. The first season’s last episode was seemingly an adaptation of Dallas, the next story arc of the series, where more time-traveling and weird encounters take place.
Updates its release is yet to be revealed.
