Woody Harrelson returns as Carnage in ‘Venom’ Sequel

It has been confirmed that Woody Harrelson will return as Carnage in the upcoming sequel of Venom.

In the first Venom movie, Harrelson appeared as the serial killer Cletus Kasady in a mid-credits scene. Fans then speculated that he would reprise the role in the next installment, with a brief appearance seemingly setting up a sequel where Carnage will be featured more prominently.

The cinematographer of Venom 2, Robert Richardson has revealed Harrison’s involvement in the project in an interview with Collider, he said  “I think it’s unexplored yet, and it’s going to explode, and this film, I think, will help it explode, because you have a remarkable central character with Venom.”

“But now you’ve got Woody Harrelson, who’s going to obviously make his own little entrance here, and we’ll see what else comes in with the Sony Marvel collaboration.”
