Selena Gomez Celebrates her first Billboard Top 100 # 1

On Monday (November 4), Selena Gomez earned her first ever No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 with her latest single “Lose You To Love Me,” which leaped from last week’s No. 15 debut spot to the top of the list. After songwriters Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter tagged Gomez on their Instagram accounts about her accomplishment, the singer posted about her excitement on her Instagram story.

“WHAT?! Omg!! Thank you SO much @billboardcharts for a first for me!! I’m so grateful,” she wrote captioning the screenshot of the original Billboard article. “Thank you guys for streaming and committing to this song! It means the world to me! This song has my whole heart.” The singer also shared a heartfelt post to her Instagram feed.
