Jonas Brothers Celebrate Billboard 200 No.1 Debut of “Happiness Begins”

After the news broke out that the comeback album of the Jonas Brothers, Happiness Begins, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 on Monday, June 17. The brothers, Nick, Kevin and Joe, celebrated their latest achievement and thank fans for the support on social media.

“I don’t even know what to say. This is so incredible,” Nick said in his Instagram post. “We set out to make a record that embodied the happiness we feel after having been through so much together. The fact that this music has connected with people in this way means the world us. Thank you for believing in us.” Joe also chimed in on Instagram posting “Speechless. Thank you guys so much!!”

Nick tweeted that he was ‘0blown away’ by the first-week numbers which was 414,000 equivalent album units. Kev also expressed his appreciation by posting on Instagram and Twitter saying “I can’t believe this! Thank you so much everyone truly insane! It’s just the beginning!!!”

Released on June 7, Happiness Begins marked the biggest week of 2019 for an album, surpassing the first-week numbers of Thank U, Next by Ariana Grande by more than 50,000. The album is also the largest week for a group since Made in the A.M. by One Direction in 2015 and the biggest week for a pop album since Reputation by Taylor Swift in 2017. The Jonas Brothers will be taking Happiness Begins on the road on the Happiness Begins Tour which starts this August.
