J.K. Rowling teases new ‘Harry Potter’

Details of a mysterious new Harry Potter project has been teased by J.K. Rowling, sharing a tweet that led fans speculating whether a new story or film could be in the works.

Rowling shared an image of Voltemort’s dark mark, along with the caption “Sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places,” she then followed the caption with the hashtags ‘Harry Potter’ and ‘Cursed Child’, leading fans to suggest that a new adaptation of Rowling’s Potter stage play might be on the way.

MuggleNet claims that Warner Bros might about to buy the rights for the stage show, though Rowling is yet to confirm further details of the announcement.

The New York production of Cursed Child said in a statement that “Cursed Child continues to be produced by Sonia Friedman, Colin Callender and Harry Potter Theatrical Productions in London, Broadway and all around the world, and there are no plans whatsoever for a movie. WB has always been a valued partner of Cursed Child since it’s [sic] ?inception. Their role has not changed.”
