Taylor Swift empowers with ‘You Need to Calm Down’ video

The music video for Taylor Swift’s latest single “You Need to Calm Down” dropped on Monday, June 17 and the video is a Pride-fest featuring some of the more prominent LGBTQ+ celebrities in the US.

The music video features artists like Ellen DeGeneres, RuPaul and a number of drag queens, Fab 5 from Queer Eye, Jesse Tyler Fergurson from Modern Family, Laverne Cox from Orange is The New Black, Pose star Billy Porter, and more celebrities.

One of the most interesting parts of the video is when Taylor and her former enemy, Katy Perry, hugged each other while wearing burger and fries outfits.

Taylor then ends the video with a call to sign a Change.org petition for Senate support of the Equality Act, and promoting the people who appeared in the video on Twitter.

The video has been a massive success earning over 14 Million views on Youtube as of its posting time.
