The All-New Toyota GR Supra was launched by Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) last July 9, 2019, not long after it was teased at the Vios Racing Festival.

The All-New Toyota GR Supra, aka the A90 or Mk. V, is first-ever Toyota Supra sold in the Philippines and will only be sold in sixteen (16) certified GR Performance dealerships nationwide.

“Bringing the legendary Supra here is something we have always wanted to do, and we are positive that there are countless Toyota fans out there who share the same enthusiasm,” said TMP First Vice President Ms. Cristina Arevalo. “The Supra, above and beyond, embodies Toyota’s pledge of making ever-better cars.”

The All-New Toyota GR Supra is powered by a twin-scroll turbocharged, 3.0L in-line 6-cylinder engine that puts out max 335Hp with 500Nm of torque mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. It’s 50:50 front-rear weight distribution makes for optimum cornering. The highly rigid chassis, body frame engineering and wheelbase-to-tread ratio of 1.55*1 results in exceptional response. Its also equipped with Adaptive Variable Suspension with the front end having double-joint type MacPherson Struts with Multi-Links in the rear along with Limited Slip Differential and ventilated brakes.

With a low and wide stance which reduces lift and drag, it’s this athletic stance which evokes a dynamic look the Toyota engineers refer to as the “Condensed Extreme”.

Up front, the large grille is flanked by two large air dams, it’s lines wrap around to the very prominent rear with the wide rear fenders, flaring at the trunk lid/spoiler and the trapezoidal bumper with dual exhaust pipes and diffuser. It’s silhouette accentuated by 19” forged aluminum wheels, with custom Michelin tires.

Forward illumination is provided by six-lens LED headlamps with integrated DRLs and turn indicators. The rear lights are combined into one unit while the LED backup reverse dot lights are arranged in the center of the lower bumper.

Inside is the best insulation and cruising experience for its driver. Locally available units will have a purely black interior. Carbon fiber accents provide an understated feel of luxury. The Alcantara sports seats have lumbar support with 8-way power memory adjust, and the 3-spoke leather steering wheel is tilt and telescopic adjustable.

With driving precision and forward visibility in mind, the All-New Toyota GR Supra has a narrow-sectioned dashboard and assists the driver in keeping focused on the road with an advanced Heads Up Display (HUD), responsive Paddle Shifters and an 8.8-inch TFT-LCD Multi Information Display gauge. The center console has a new asymmetrical design that fully envelopes the driver and the padded pillar helps to cushion the right leg while maintaining roominess for the passenger. It’s equipped with dual-zone, push-type air conditioning, a JBL12-speaker entertainment system with an 8.8-inch TFT LCD touchscreen display with Bluetooth and USB connectivity

It’s equipped with seven (7) SRS airbags, 3-point Pre-tensioner and Force Limiter seatbelts, Traction Control, Vehicle Stability Control, and Anti-Lock Brake System.
