#Tech947: FujifilmPH launches the new X-T30

Fujifilm Philippines recently launched the latest addition to it’s X Series lineup¸ the Fujifilm X-T30. Aside from their new camera, they introduced their first batch of new ambassadors, Issa Pressman, Mari Jasmine,  Photographers Andrea Beldua, Cocoy Ponce, Maqui Castelo, Juanico Fernandez, Jelito de Leon alongside James Reid.

The X-T30 has a 26.1-megapixel sensor and has a 425 point phase-detection autofocus system which has approximately 100% frame coverage.  It’s video recording features step up your content, with the ability to capture high resolution audio without requiring additional equipment. There’s eye tracking autofocus which helps maintain focus during both still shots and video recording. Add to this, the X-T30’s ability to record in 4K (4096×2160) in DCI format (17:9), which gives an even more cinematic look to video. Film Simulation modes available for video are: PROVIA/Standard, Velvia/Vivid, ASTIA/Soft, Classic Chrome, PRO Neg.Hi, PRO Neg.Std, Black & White, Black & White+Ye Filter, Black & White+R Filter, Black & White+G Filter, Sepia, ACROS, ACROS+Ye Filter, ACROS+R Filter, ACROS+G Filter and ETERNA/Cinema.

Lastly, 4K/30P videos can be recorded at 4:20 8bit to an SD card. F-log recording and 4:2:2 10bit via the HDMI capabilities means the camera can record video suitable for more serious videographers.

It’s a lightweight weighing only 333g (excluding accessories, battery and memory card).

It retails at PHP 52,990 (body only) while the package that comes with the XF18-55mmF2.8-4 R LM OIS kit costs PHP75,990. The Fujifilm X-T30 is available at all Fujifilm authorized dealers nationwide.
