According to Digital Spy, Details on the film are currently limited, but hints from Vin Diesel suggest that the fourth film would be an origin story, which will reveal “where it all began with that dark character Riddick”.

The return of Vin Diesel to the Riddick franchise comes after a few weeks after filming for the ninth installment in the Fast & Furious series officially started.

Diesel and co-star Michelle Rodriguez offered fans a first-look at the upcoming film. “Can you believe it?” He said. “We just completed our first day and it feels like a miracle.”
