Playstation Plus Free Games for July 2020

Admit it.

If you are a gamer or a returning one at that, you’ve dusted off whatever gaming console you had during the recent lockdown.

And now that commerce is slowly coming back into our lives, gamers are looking to add more games to their roster that they have revisited or mastered during the time when the four walls of our home were the only confines that we were relegated to.

Lucky for you, PlayStation Plus recently celebrated its 10th anniversary last June 29 and Sony has revealed the following games will be free to download from the service in July 2020.

From July 7 to August 3, PlayStation Plus members will be able to acquire NBA 2K20, Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration, and Erica. Just in case you mathematically have not processed that yet, it means that this month gamers and newbies have the chance to download three games, as opposed to the usual two.

Additionally, to celebrate 10 years of PlayStation Plus, a free PS4 theme will also be available on the PlayStation Store for a limited time later this week.

In addition, Sony also has revealed some statistics and info such as Wipeout HD is one of the first-ever games to be given to PS Plus members and the fact that over 1000 games have been offered by the service globally.

They also revealed that the top 5 monthly games redeemed from PS Plus globally are Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Sonic Forces, Shadow of the Colossus, Call of Duty: Black Ops III, and Destiny 2.

Meanwhile, the top 5 Online Multiplayer Games played by PS Plus members globally are Grand Theft Auto V, Rainbow Six Siege, Call of Duty: Black Ops III, Destiny, and Call of Duty: Black Ops IV.

And for those who enjoyed Part 1 and currently enjoying the sequel, it was also announced that The Last of Us 2 has officially become Sony’s fastest-selling PlayStation 4 game in the UK, beating the opening week numbers from 2016’s Uncharted 4 by just over 1%.
