WATCH: Jared Leto in Morbius’ Official Trailer

A spin-off on the Spider-Man Universe Morbius has landed its first trailer and it sees Jared Leto playing as the blood-sucking vampire.

The Marvel character Morbius is a biochemist who searches for a cure to his rare blood disease, the eventually turns himself into a monster along the process.

In the trailer, we see a lot of action as Dr. Michael Morbius (Leto) transform from a sickly man to a blood-sucking, wall-jumping vampire. It also teases a crossover with the Marvel Spider-Man universe by an appearance from Homecoming villain Vulture who is played by Michael Keaton.

Stars Jared Harris, Matt Smith and Adria Arjona will join the cast and Daniel Espinosa will direct the said film.

The synopsis reads:  “Dangerously ill with a rare blood disorder, and determined to save others suffering his same fate, Dr. Morbius attempts a desperate gamble. What at first appears to be a radical success soon reveals itself to be a remedy potentially worse than the disease.”
