‘Thor: Ragnarok’ Director Taika Waititi may join ‘Suicide Squad’
Taika Waititi, the director of Thor: Ragnarok, is reportedly in talks to be in front of the camera for the upcoming sequel of the blockbuster movie Suicide Squad.
Waititi will be joining the DC Universe along with his inclusion in the Marvel Universe.
James Gunn will be the director for the sequel of Suicide Squad, who also directed and handled the screenplay of Guardians of the Galaxy.
According to Inquirer, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney and Viola Davis will reprise their roles, while joining the cast are Idris Elba, John Cena, David Dastmalchian and Daniela Melchior.
The sequel is set to release in the U.S. on August 6, 2021.
