Terry Crews confirms ‘White Chicks 2’

The question on the minds of White Chicks fans…  if the film will ever have a sequel ? – has been answered by Terry Crews, and it’s a resounding “yes!”

During an interview on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Crews confirmed that he has been in contact with Shawn Wayans, who wrote, produced and starred alongside his brother Marlon in the classic comedy film. “You know what, I actually got with Shawn, and he was like, ‘Man, we doing it. We getting it going,'” Crews said.

White Chicks premiered 15 years ago and became an instant favorite for a lot of people. It earned $133 million at the box office and stands as one of the most memorable and quotable roles of Terry Crews to date.

The actor also mentioned in the interview that the sequel could include another pop song performance to resemble his iconic version of “A Thousand Miles” by Vanessa Carlton in the movie.

“I think the modern day equivalent to that might be Carly Rae Jepsen, ‘Call Me Maybe,'” Crews said.

Back in March, Marlon Wayans shared his thoughts on the possibility of a sequel on an interview saying “I don’t know, but there’s been some rumblings happening, and a lot of people want us to do it, so me and my brothers have been talking.”

“So if things go right, we hope to do a White Chicks 2.” He continued.

Turns out, everything worked out  Other details about White Chicks 2 are yet to be revealed.
