Taylor Swift #1 in Forbes Celebrity 100

Taylor Swift hasn’t released her Lover album yet but she’s already dominating 2019 as she earns the top spot on the Forbes Celebrity 100 list.  Announced by Forbes magazine on Wednesday (July 10), Taylor hit No. 1 on the list with pretax income of $185 million, a 131% jump over her $80 million earnings in 2018.

Second on the list is Kylie Jenner with $170 million and in third place is Kanya West with $150 million. Taylor also topped soccer superstars Lionel Messi (#4), Cristiano Ronaldo (#6), and Neymar (#7), her friend Ed Sheeran (#5, $110 million), The Eagles (#8, $100 million), Dr. Phil (#9) and boxer Canelo Alvarez (#10).

Newcomers are also included on the list like BTS, who earned the 43rd spot with $57 million thanks to their Love Yourself album trilogy and stadium tour, as well as their Map of the Soul: Persona album and the BTS World app.

The celebrities on the list ranked in $6.3 billion in pretax earnings over the past 12 months. According to Forbes, the rankings of the said list are estimated based on the period between June 1, 2018 and June 1, 2019.
