Spidey’s Far From Home beats Endgame’s Box Office Record

Spider-Man in Columbia Pictures' SPIDER-MAN: ™ FAR FROM HOME

It hasn’t been a week yet but Spider-Man: Far From Home already beat a record previously held by Avengers: Endgame.

The superhero blockbuster, starring Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spiderman and Zandaya as his love interest MJ, has beaten Endgame in the midweek stakes.

According to NME, Endgame dominated the North American box office when it was released in April, collecting $25.3 million on its first Wednesday in cinemas which later went on to become one of the highest grossing movies of all-time. Far From Home, on the other hand, surpassed that figure on July 3 (Wednesday) in North America, the highest midweek takings of any Marvel Cinematic Universe movie to date. The said movie has earned $310 million worldwide.

Far From Home is expected to continue its superb performance on the following weeks when it opens to other international markets.
