‘Fortnite’ to crossover with ‘Stranger Things’
Hit video game Fortnite is gearing up for a crossover with none other than the returning thriller Netflix series Stranger Things.
According to the Inquirer, the portals of the game do not respond to gunfire or melee attacks. Through, they do have teleportation qualities. Players of the game can walk into one portal and find themselves walking out of another.
About 2-3 hours ago, Epic decrypted yet another .pak file that contains a lot of Stranger Things related files. There is now also a Stranger Things portal in Mega Mall!

The planned crossover event of the two entities was revealed back in June. Chris Lee, the games division director of Netflix confirmed at the 2019 Electronic Entertainment Expo’s panel track that the Fornite version of a Stranger Things ice cream store was part of a larger collaboration. This could mean a special Limited Time Mode could happen like for other movie franchises like Marvel’s The Avengers and John Wick, or something new for Creative Mode, such as the Nike Air Jordan downhill dash.
An official announcement of the collaboration is expected to follow.
