First Look: Disney’s Live Action ‘Mulan’ Teaser

Disney has released the first teaser trailer for their live-action take of the 1999 animated hit Mulan, and it looks absolutely stunning. The live-action adaptation stars Yifei Liu in the titular role.

According to Mashable, the teaser trailer released has a similar story to the late animated film: “Mulan’s family takes her to a matchmaker, who expresses all the desirable qualities that a good wife must have. Mulan may or may not have those qualities, but we know what they don’t: That she is, above all, a fierce warrior.” The upcoming movie will also star Rogue One Donnie Yen, Jason Scott Lee, Yoson An, Gong Li, Jet Li, and more.

Mulan is set to hit theaters in 2020.
