FIRST LOOK: Disney’s Lady and the Tramp Live-Action reboot
The first look for the live-action remake of another Disney classic, Lady and the Tramp, will be coming to their soon-to-be streaming service, Disney+, in November.
The twitter account of Good Morning America shared an adorable photo of two cute pups that will star in the film and are gracing the cover of the new issue of the Disney D-23 magazine.
The adorable Rose will play as Lady and will be voiced by Tessa Thompson (Thor: Ragnarok), while Tramp will be played by the handsome Monte, who will be voiced by Justin Theroux.
According to Digital Spy, Monte and Rose are both rescue dogs who were given homes after the production.
The voice cast of the film would include Benedict Wong, Ashley Jensen, Sam Elliot and Janelle Monáe.
Monáe will be working with Wondaland members Nate ‘Rocket’ Wonder and Roman Gian Arthur on reworking the track ‘The Siamese Cat Song’ – which has been considered a negative depiction of Asian culture – and in making two new songs.
Disney+ will launch on November 12 in the US.
