Elvis’ Biopic in the works

Five candidates have been tapped to portray the King of Rock and Roll Elvis Presley in his upcoming biopic that is already in the works.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the ones who auditioned for the part include Harry Styles, Ansel Elgort, Austin Butler, Miles Teller and Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Whoever will be chosen will be accompanied by Tom Hanks who will be playing the manager of the legendary singer. The results are expected to come out in a few weeks.

“A little less conversation, a little more action, please. Austin Butler, Ansel Elgort, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Harry Styles and Miles Teller have all tested for the role of Elvis Presley in Baz Luhrmann’s upcoming biopic. Who will get the role?” reported by The Hollywood Reporter.  

The Elvis film “is described as focusing on the late entertainer’s rise and zenith, with a major aspect being his relationship with manager Col. Tom Parker.” The upcoming film will be produced by The Great Gatsby’s Baz Luhrmann,
