Disney+ wants Hailee Steinfeld to be new Hawkeye

Even if the Phase 4 of Marvel seems a bit shaky because of Spider-Man’s status, fans can expect that there are still other exciting projects to eye for, such as the exclusive series of Disney + which includes Hawkeye.

Marvel confirmed the series recently at the San Diego Comic-Con. Jeremy Renner will reprise his role as everyone’s favorite archer in the Marvel Cinematic Universe – Clint Barton, a.k.a Hawkeye.

Singer and actress Hailee Steinfeld has also been offered a lead role in the upcoming series. If Steinfeld agrees to play the role and be part of the Marvel family, she will be playing Kate Bishop, a Marvel Comics character that takes up the mantle of Hawkeye after Clint Barton.

In the comics, Kate Bishop is also a member of the Young Avengers. And fans speculate that, because of the Marvel Phase 4 lineup so far, a formation of a new-look Earth’s Mightiest Heroes might happen.
