COSLANDIA Returns in November!!!

This 3-day J culture event happening on November 1, 2 and 3 at the SMX Convention Center Aura was launched by Hallohallo Entertainment Inc. yesterday, October 5, 2019, at the Movie Stars Café at Eton Centris along with its media partners to give J-Fans a glimpse of what’s in store in the upcoming event.

The launch highlighted the surprise release of the official theme song of COSLANDIA 2019, which is the 5th single of the local idol group MNL 48 “Gingham Check”. The group also gave the event’s media partners a first look on the single’s music video. Watch the video below:

MNL 48 will also be launching their new card game app and will be singing the COSLANDIA 2019 theme song at the main event. Other leading guests that will join the local idol group are J-Pop idols such as Pastel Mix, 1-Girls, Fairytale, Amatsusora, Gracorex, Hirotoshi “TJ” Maeda, Hazuki Tsubasa, Tomoka, and Samero.

There will also be various cosplay activities happening in the event such as solo cosplay competitions with themes “Armor and Cloth” and “Hero Heroine”, a trick or treat costume contest for kids, and guest cosplayers from WCS Philippines provided by the World Cosplay Summit Philippines (WCS).

Pop Culture Hiroshima (PCH) will also bring guest cosplayers, the PCH Team Philippines, and will take its first NCR Qualifiers to the festival where winning cosplayers will have the opportunity to compete in the finals and represent the Philippines in Japan for the April 2020 annual Pop Culture Hiroshima.

International cosplayers will also join the fun, Miku 16 and the people behind the upcoming live-action film adaptation Seikimatsu Blue – based on the popular fantasy-supernatural manga series of the same name created by manga artist Shintaro Hirota – who will also join the event together with the film’s director Tetsuya Hashi and MNL 48 members Abby, Coleen, Brei and Kay who are part of the cast.

COSLANDIA 2019 is hosted by Hallohallo Entertainment Inc. in partnership with Embassy of Japan in the Philippines, World Cosplay Summit Philippines, and Pop Culture Hiroshima Philippines.

More announcements and updates are expected to be unveiled in the coming weeks before the much-awaited event. Tickets are on sale in any SM ticket outlets or through www.smtickets.com for P600 (one day pass), P900 (two day pass) and P1,200 (three day pass).
