Artemis Fowl goes straight to Disney +

 

As the casualties of infected people by Covid 19 continue to rise and that there is no flattening the curve, for now, malls and cinemas are one of the establishments certainly feeling the effects.

Because of that, Disney has decided to release the movie adaptation of Artemis Fowl to its brand new streaming service, Disney +.

While there is no date yet when the movie will come out on its streaming service, it was supposed to open on May 29 after it was already moved from its release last year of August 9.

The film is directed by Kenneth Branagh and stars Ferdia Shaw in the title role who plays Fowl, a 12-year old criminal mastermind who has kidnapped a fairy for ransom. The movie version is the adaptation of the 1st book in the series which is written by Irish author, Eoin Colfer and has 8 books in total.

Shaw is joined in the film with other big-name stars such as Dame Judi Dench, Josh Gad, and Colin Farrell.
