Who knew a hostless Oscars might turn out to be a good idea? The 91st annual Oscars is officially in the books. Speaking of books, “Green Book” was Sunday evening’s unexpected winner at the 91st Academy Awards. The film, a story about black pianist Don Shirley touring the American Deep South in 1962, earned three Oscars, including best picture, best original screenplay and best actor in a supporting role.

“Bohemian Rhapsody” actually won the most Academy Awards with four. Like “Green Book,” “Black Panther” and “Roma” won three Oscars apiece.

Rami Malek (“Bohemian Rhapsody”) and Olivia Colman (“The Favourite”) earned Sunday’s top acting honors. Alfonso Cuarón was named best director for “Roma.”
